The health of indigenous women and children is largely the province of the 'comadronas' or midwives. This noble professsion is exclusive of men and retains the proud tradition that makes the women of Guatemala the marrow and backbone of their culture and communities.
Come 'learn by doing', externing with the finest, most experienced and best trained midwives in the world.
